Watch: Roscoe Williams reflects on his legacy at Augusta University

In a ceremony Nov. 4, the ballroom of the Jaguar Student Activities Center was named in honor of Dr. Roscoe Williams, the first African American in a professional position at Augusta University.

Over the course of his 27-year career at the institution, he moved up the ranks, serving as assistant dean of students, associate dean of students and finally dean of students.

In a recent interview, he reflected on his legacy at Augusta University.
